Trainer and Assessor- Diploma of Community Services
We are looking for a Diploma of Community Services trainer who holds the relevant Training Qualifications, Training experience and recent industry experience in the following areas:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or TAE40110 with the TAELLN & TAEASS units
- CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services
- CHC40313 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention
Training Programs are run from our Surrey Hills Campus and may be requested at various offsite locations with strong links to ONCALL Group Australia.
About you
We are seeking applications from individuals who ideally will have;
- Hold completed and current Qualifications in CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services and CHC40313 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention courses; and
- 2-3 years of relevant work experience in delivering CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services and CHC40313 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention courses content
- Professional interest and knowledge of disability, youth specific issues, an understanding of trauma informed care practice and working knowledge of DHHS
- A strong desire to motivate, provide comprehensive training and educate new support workers according to Community Services Quality Governance Frameworks
- Be interested in developing new programs to support the growing needs of the Community Services sector, seeking ways to motivate new workers to be equally passionate and dedicate to this specialised key role.
The successful candidate will have the following criteria:
- Hold, or currently enrolled and participated in completing their course in Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or TAE40110 with the TAELLN & TAEASS units
- Completed CHC52015 Diploma of Community Services, CHC40313 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention and/or above
- Vocational competencies and current industry skills relevant to the training & assessment being delivered
- Demonstrated proficiency and experience within Vocational Education and Training
- Relevant industry qualifications and experience
- Working with Children's Check
- National Police Check
- NDIS Worker Screening Check.
